The birth of one of the first ever wristwatches sealed the bonds of friendship between these two pioneers. The rounded angles of the dial, the seamless curve of the horns, and the exposed screws made for an iconic watch that would inspire countless reinterpretations.
Santos-Dumont watch, large model, quartz movement. 18K yellow gold (7501000) case, beaded crown with synthetic blue cabochon-shaped spinel, blue satin-brushed dial with sunray effect, golden Roman numerals, golden-finish steel sword-shaped hands, sapphire crystal, blue alligator-skin strap, 18K yellow gold (7501000) ardillon buckle. Case dimensions 43.5 mm x 31.4 mm, thickness 7.3 mm. Water-resistant up to 3 bar (approx. 30 meters100 feet).
